I built Cozon Digital World as a place to think out loud, not to quietly harvest data on the people reading along. But like almost every website on the internet, this one does collect some information — mostly the boring, standard kind — and I'd rather just tell you plainly what that is than bury it in legal fog. So here's the real version.
1. What I Actually Collect
What you hand over yourself. If you comment, message me, or sign up for anything, you might give me:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Whatever you write in a comment or contact form
That's it — nothing you didn't type in yourself.
What gets collected automatically, just by you visiting. Like basically every site running on the modern web, this one (or the tools it relies on) picks up some background details when you show up:
- Your IP address
- Browser, device, and operating system
- Which pages you looked at, how long you stayed, and where you came from
- Cookies and similar tracking bits
None of this is me watching you personally. It's the standard exhaust of running a website in 2026.
2. What I Actually Do With It
I'm not selling your data or building some elaborate profile on you. I use this information to:
- Keep the site running and make it better over time
- Actually reply when you comment or reach out
- Send updates or newsletters — only if you asked for them
- Understand which posts are landing and which aren't
- Catch technical problems or security issues before they become real ones
3. Cookies and Ads — Yes, There Are Some
I'll be upfront: this site runs Google AdSense, which means ads help keep the lights on. That comes with a trade-off worth naming honestly.
- Google and its ad partners (including DoubleClick) use cookies to show you ads based on your browsing across other sites too — not just this one.
- If you'd rather not have ads personalized to you, you can turn that off through Google's Ad Settings or aboutads.info. It won't remove ads, just makes them less targeted.
4. The Other Tools Running Behind the Scenes
A few outside services help this site function:
- Google AdSense — for the ads
- Google Analytics — so I can see what's actually being read
- Email providers — if you're subscribed to updates
- Social platforms — for the share buttons you might click
Each of those has its own privacy policy, and I'd genuinely encourage you to skim them if you care about where your data travels once it leaves here.
5. I Don't Sell Your Information — Full Stop
I'm not in the business of trading your data. The only times information about you might leave my hands are:
- With service providers I rely on to run the site, all bound by confidentiality
- If I'm legally required to share it with law enforcement
That's the whole list.
6. Keeping Things Secure
I take reasonable steps to protect whatever information comes through this site. That said, I'll be honest instead of making a promise I can't back up: no method of storing or transmitting data online is ever fully bulletproof, and anyone who tells you otherwise is overselling it.
7. If You're Under 13 (or 16, Depending on Where You Live)
This site isn't built for kids, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 — or under 16, in places where that's the legal line. If that describes you, please don't submit personal information here.
8. Your Say in All This
This is your data, not mine to hoard. You can ask me to show you what I have, correct it, or delete it entirely — just reach out. And if you're on a mailing list, unsubscribing is always one click away, no guilt trip attached.
9. If This Policy Changes
I'll update this page if anything meaningfully changes about how the site handles your data, and I'll bump the date at the top so it's obvious when that happens. No quiet edits.
